  1. You are wisely trying to lose weight, and are to be commended. I've lost 60+ pounds myself, but it took a while, you could lost far more than that in relatively short amount of time by changing your diet. Since you are seeking feedback, I'll say this: it is nearly ALL about food. Exercise is good & worthwhile, but three hours of it are easily cancelled out eating a single piece of junk food, and you are back to square one. I've lost & kept weight off (the hardest part) by consistently avoiding bad foods and changing my eating lifestyle to a largely plant-based diet. I've found great wisdom from Dr Joel Fuhrman's book Eat to Live, which provides great eating advice on eating filling, nutritional whole foods that keep weight down without measuring portions--his advice inadvertantly follows closely to the Word of Wisdom. If you want to lose weight, you'll have to simply stop eating junk, which seems like an insurmountable task, but after you eat healthfully for a while, you do not desire to eat the junk any more. You naturally desire foods that are bad for you because of their taste that affects your brain the same way drugs do, moving off of them requires conditioning, but you can do it. Feel free to contact me if you want any more info.
